We are looking to add an Associate Product Manager to our fast growing team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact while advancing your career in product management. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in a software as a service environment, and is passionate about incorporating user feedback to deliver an exceptional experience.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

#1) Advocate for the Customer

You’ll collaborate with front line teams to understand trends in the market. You’ll work directly with customers to understand their experiences and will be the point of contact through the development and quality assurance processes to answer questions and represent the customer.

#2) Asses Value & Prioritize Stories

You’ll work within the Product team and close to the Development team to help shape the product plan for the Rise platform. This will include assessing the value of customer stories and prioritizing the work we do.

#3) Ensure Excellence

Your high attention to detail will help ensure that we deliver the highest quality solution to market every time. Through wireframes and acceptance tests you will provide the Rise design, development and QA teams what they need to build our solutions, and sign off on products to ensure consistency across platforms and an unparallelled user experience.

Your qualifications

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and comfortable running meetings and executing customer interviews
  • Clear and precise written communication skills, ideally with experience writing user stories and acceptance tests
  • Experience working with Agile and Scrum processes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities that allow you to dissect projects into manageable tasks and assess trade-offs
  • Proficient with JIRA or similar Agile management tools
  • Versed in building out low fidelity wireframes or prototypes to communicate an idea
  • Ability to work on a team with a diverse range of people in a rapidly changing and cross-functional work environment
  • Relevant education from a post-secondary institute is preferred
