We’re looking for a Finance Leader that loves to be part of a growing and dynamic team to bring our HR + Benefits + Payroll solution to new heights. This is an opportunity to help shape a team and department.

Reporting to the VP, Client Services, you’ll oversee a team of client support associates who provide accounting and tax related support to our clients and teams. You’re versatile and have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle a myriad of different functions. You believe your hands-on approach, analytical mind and problem-solving skills are your greatest assets.

You tackle challenges head-on, enjoy building processes, scaling operations, and are organized and an efficient team leader that thrives in a fast-paced environment of change.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

#1) Lead the Accounting and Tax Support of our Customers

Lead a team that provides accounting and tax support to our clients.  Your team provides accounting support such as general banking tasks, journal entries, WCB, source deductions issues and reconciliation, and they perform tax-related duties such as reporting Quebec’s Remittance Forms and Reconciliation and Ontario EHT.

#2) Build and Streamline Processes

You will be responsible for building out processes to ensure we have the proper checks and balances in place, streamline existing processes to create efficiencies, and develop a high performing team, which includes mentorship and leadership.

#3) Collaborate with Other Leaders

As a leader on the Client Services team, you will be collaborating with other leaders within Client Services and other departments to ensure that new processes you roll out are adopted, and that changes to our product that require support from your team are developed and rolled out.

Your qualifications

  • CGA/CPA Certification
  • A Bachelor degree in accounting or business
  • 2-3 years experience working with clients, and ideally leading and managing people
  • Technology focus
  • Professional and proactive in both oral and written communication
  • Strong technical expertise
  • Client focused & great at problem solving
  • Excel based reporting proficiency
